Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is looking for a Workers’ Compensation Claims Manager to oversee claim adjusters and ensure effective claims processes. This position starts remotely, transitioning to a hybrid schedule once the Oakbrook, IL office opens.

The ideal candidate will have management experience, strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation insurance, and a BA/BS degree. The role includes developing staff, managing claims negotiations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive management experience preferred.
• Experience within the Workers’ Compensation insurance industry required.
• SIP certificate where required.

Responsibilities

• Develop short-range area plans and budgets with claim supervisors.
• Evaluate and develop staff effectiveness.
• Monitor and communicate case statuses regularly.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Participate in hearings and settlements negotiation.
