Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Workers' Compensation to analyze complex WC claims for clients in MD and NJ, with a focus on accurate benefit determinations and timely adjudication.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Licensing: Home state preferred; Jurisdiction knowledge: MD and NJ.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing workers' compensation claims and determining benefits.
• Negotiating settlement within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions.
