Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a dedicated Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner to adjudicate complex claims for clients in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. You will work within a collaborative, customer-focused environment, ensuring timely, accurate determinations of benefits while maintaining service standards.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of claims experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a willingness to work in a hybrid/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional certification as applicable to line of business.
• Experience: 3+ years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Jurisdiction Knowledge: NJ and PA.
• Licensing: not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process workers' compensation claims to determine exposure and benefits.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to excess carriers and respond to directions professionally.
