The Water/Wastewater Engineer designs treatment facilities, performs hydraulic simulations, and prepares regulatory submissions while coordinating with clients and regulators in a remote-friendly environment.

This role requires a PE license, a Civil Engineering degree, and 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited university.
• PE licensure required.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design water treatment plants, wastewater facilities, lift stations, and related infrastructure.
• Perform hydraulic simulations and process calculations, prepare reports and permit applications.
• Represent Atwell in client and regulatory meetings and manage multiple project deadlines.
