Job summary

Chem-Aqua, A Solenis Company, is seeking a Water Treatment Service Technician to support customers across a defined territory. The role focuses on diagnostics, on-site testing, cleaning, and preventive maintenance to keep boilers, cooling towers and process systems running efficiently.

Qualifications

3-5 years of work experience in a field using mechanical principles.
Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
Experience in water treatment or related industry a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics on water treatment equipment: reverse osmosis Systems, water softeners, and other water treatment/conditioning systems.
Spot opportunities to improve water systems-stopping corrosion, preventing scale, boosting efficiency, and avoiding downtime.
Perform on-site water testing & analysis (don't worry, we train you).
Determine condition of system fluids, identify malfunctions and take corrective actions.
Provide routine preventative maintenance services; inspection, cleaning, and calibration of system components as necessary to assigned accounts
Accurately report service calls.
Schedule service and sales calls, including daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
Maintain customer chemical inventory which may include lifting 5 gallon pails that weigh approximately 55-75 lbs.
