Job summary

Olsson is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Technical Expert to enhance process engineering capabilities nationwide. You will provide firmwide leadership for drinking water treatment, including conventional and advanced processes, potable reuse, PFAS treatment, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of drinking water industry experience, including process design and engineering.
• Must be a licensed professional engineer (PE).
• Strong technical background in municipal water market, water treatment, water quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for treatment process selection, design, optimization, pilot testing, and commissioning.
• Support project delivery, staff development and mentorship, and technical innovation.
• Provide insights into firm water treatment strategy and technical approaches for key pursuits.
• Identify market trends and client needs to capitalize on water services opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful water treatment facility designs.
• Mentor and develop team members to become water sector experts.
