Job summary

Hy-Tek is seeking a Software Support Representative to ensure reliable operation of warehouse automation platforms. You will provide advanced technical support to end users, diagnose complex issues, and liaise between warehouse operations, IT, and software vendors.

The role requires 2+ years in technical support for warehouse software, strong WMS knowledge, and excellent communication. Remote work is possible; some after-hours support and travel may be required.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2+ years in technical support or help desk, preferably with warehouse/logistics software.
Strong knowledge of warehouse automation systems (WMS, barcode/RFID).
Familiarity with databases, networking basics, and scripting/automation tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues related to warehouse software.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software, hardware, and integration problems.
Provide support via phone, email, remote access, and in-person assistance.
Document incidents and resolutions in the help desk system.
Collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve advanced challenges.
Assist in deployment, configuration, and testing of new software releases.
Develop and maintain user guides and training materials.
Monitor performance and identify potential improvements.
Mentor Help Desk Specialist I team members.
Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support.
