Job summary

Digital Management Llc seeks a Sr. Vulnerability Assessment Analyst to lead the vulnerability management program for a State-level IT department. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate with SOC, and drive remediation efforts while maintaining scan assets and configurations.

The role requires extensive RMF experience, hands-on Windows/Linux administration, and proficiency with Tenable/Nessus, ServiceNow GRC, and RSA Archer. Remote US work is possible, with on-call hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of RMF-focused assessment experience and continuous monitoring.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administration and network device basics.
• Experience with Tenable/Nessus scan administration and results analysis.
• Proven ability to plan, execute, monitor, and close security assessment projects.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work outside regular hours and provide on-call support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily vulnerability management program operations.
• Liaise between Security Assessment and SOC on vulnerability scanning matters.
• Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close vulnerability projects/tasks.
• Configure and schedule patch and secure configuration audit scans.
• Maintain scan assets, plugins, STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and credentials.
• Troubleshoot failed scans and credential issues, update asset lists.
• Analyze scan results and document technical and procedural findings.
• Recommend remediation/mitigation and identify false positives.
• Prepare status reports on scans and remediation efforts; communicate updates.
