The role emphasizes hands-on vulnerability scanning using ACAS and Tenable tools, along with collaboration with ISSMs and DoD leadership. The position is remote, targeting U.S.

government requirements, and requires an Active Secret clearance. The candidate will manage artifacts in eMASS, analyze findings, and help improve cyber defense posture across

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• Hands-on experience with RMF and DoD guidance
• Experience with ACAS/Tenable scanning and reporting
• Ability to collaborate with ISSMs and DoD leadership
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Support RMF accreditation activities with DoD leadership.
• Operate eMASS to manage artifacts, control status, and ATO packages.
• Plan, configure, and execute ACAS scans across enterprise systems.
• Analyze scan results and work with system owners to remediate findings.
• Maintain vulnerability schedules, baselines, and documentation per DoD guidance.
• Monitor logs and security events to detect anomalies and threats.
• Produce vulnerability reports and ensure STIG/IAVM/CCRI readiness.
• Create and maintain SOPs, POA&Ms, and knowledge bases.
