Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst to help evaluate and improve AI systems that reason about cyber risk. You will work on CVEs, risk prioritization, remediation, and data labeling for AI training in a remote hourly contract.

You’ll analyze vulnerability reports, classify severity beyond CVSS, and contribute to realistic security-reasoning data for AI benchmarks. Experience in vulnerability management and strong written communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security.
• Familiarity with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks.
• Ability to explain complex security decisions in writing and to work independently on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and exposure scenarios across infrastructure and application environments.
• Classify severity, exploitability, and business impact using real-world judgment — not just CVSS scores.
• Evaluate patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios for accuracy and practicality.
• Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to train and benchmark AI systems.
• Provide structured feedback that helps AI understand the tradeoffs security teams actually navigate.
