Alignerr is seeking an Offensive Security Analyst to shape how AI understands cyber threats through modeling realistic attack scenarios. This remote, hourly contract role requires deep offensive security knowledge and the ability to articulate attacker behavior for AI training.

You'll analyze attack paths, gaps, and red-team narratives, and generate labeled data to evaluate frontier AI systems. Work independently on a flexible schedule, 10–40 hours per week, with potential for ongoing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on pentesting, red teaming, or blue-team work.
• Deep knowledge of real attacker techniques in production environments.
• Ability to articulate attack chains and risk to technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented with clear documentation.
• Ability to work independently across threat scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Analyze attack paths, kill chains, and adversary strategies across realistic environments.
• Identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and defensive gaps across modern infrastructure.
• Review red-team scenarios and intrusion narratives for accuracy and real-world plausibility.
• Generate, label, and validate adversarial data used to train and evaluate frontier AI systems.
• Clearly explain how attacks propagate, where defenses fail, and how risk compounds across complex environments.
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule.
