Harvard Bioscience, a leading life sciences tools company, seeks a VP of Operations to oversee global manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, quality, and regulatory functions. The role reports to the CEO and requires driving cost reduction, quality enhancements, and durable processes across multiple sites worldwide.

Qualificações

• 20+ years of manufacturing and operations leadership experience.
• Experience with multi-site and multinational responsibility.
• Experience in life science tools or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success delivering significant improvements in cost, quality, and service.
• Experience establishing manufacturing operating systems including Lean, S&OP, vendor selection and optimization.
• Experience with manufacturing automation and transition to automated production.
• Strong understanding of new product introduction, design transfer, process validation, and production scale-up.
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and quality management requirements for regulated manufacturing.
• Strong strategic and financial acumen including capacity planning and budgeting.
• Demonstrated ability to build and develop high performing manufacturing organizations and leadership teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead global manufacturing operations and establish a high-performing leadership team for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Transform existing manufacturing operations and supply chain to support significant growth, including S&OP.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement to reduce waste and variability.
• Lead executive for global manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement functions.
