Signal and Strand is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to spearhead the expansion into new markets across Real Estate, Home Services, Construction, and related verticals. You will design the go-to-market, build a national partner network, and own the pipeline from first contact to signed deals.

You will report to the Senior VP of Sales, collaborating with Marketing and Customer Experience to ensure the offering matches client needs while scaling a fast-growing outsourcing model.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B business development with deep relationships in real estate, home services/construction, waste management or hospitality.
• 5+ years in senior sales leadership with a track record of winning in the target industry.
• Comfortable building relationships with owners and the C-suite.
• Experience in high-growth environments using data and technology to drive results.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic yet hands-on to execute plans.
• Collaborative, efficient and results-driven; energized by networking and events.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, communication, or related field.
• Strong written and spoken communication; tech-savvy and quick to adopt new tools.

Responsabilités

• Own new business for your vertical from first conversation to signed agreement with a self-built pipeline.
• Design go-to-market for a new industry: ICP, offer, pricing and partnerships.
• Land strategic partnerships and national accounts and deepen them.
• Be the face of the company at conferences, trade associations and client visits.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Experience to ensure delivery aligns with market needs.
• Help set strategic direction of the division as verticals take hold.
