Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, audit, investigations, risk, or a similarly regulated environment.
• 7+ years leading compliance programs, audit functions, or investigation teams.
• Track record of building or scaling enterprise compliance operations, governance, and technology.
• Hands-on experience with risk-based audit plans, complex investigations, and corrective action programs.
• Comfort using data, analytics, and compliance technology to measure effectiveness and spot emerging risk.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior leaders and drive accountability.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction, governance structure, and operating model for the enterprise compliance program.
• Lead risk-based audit and monitoring programs, including coding and documentation audits and internal control assessments.
• Provide executive oversight of compliance investigations, including fraud, waste and abuse, conflicts of interest, retaliation, and hotline concerns.
• Build consistent, defensible methodologies for audits, investigations, case management, and escalation.
• Oversee issue management and corrective action from identification through validated resolution.
• Own the compliance data and analytics strategy, including dashboards, scorecards, trend analysis, and executive reporting.
• Drive adoption of compliance technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency and audit readiness.
• Lead enterprise compliance training and communications across clinical, operational, and corporate teams.
• Manage compliance committees, external audits, and government inquiries.
• Partner with Legal, Operations, Revenue Cycle, Finance, IT, HR, and clinical leadership.
• Lead and develop a team of compliance, audit, and investigation professionals.
