6 Degrees Health is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead broker engagement and drive growth in the Texas market for our healthcare cost containment solutions. The role is remote and reports to the Chief Growth Officer, with travel up to 20% to support client opportunities and strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in health insurance sales, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into compelling value

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years sales experience with successful track record of hitting and exceeding sales quota.
• Extensive knowledge of the self-funded group health industry.
• Experience selling through brokers, TPA, Stop Loss space.

Responsibilities

• Must negotiate complex deals requiring cross-department collaboration.
• Present to C-Suite in person or via web applications.
• Lead business development opportunities and support channel partners.
• Drive pricing strategy and participate in RFP processes.
• Travel up to 20% to engage clients and partners.
