Job summary

Bethany Christian Services seeks a VP of Business Development to lead nationwide grant-writing efforts from a remote location. The role drives public funding strategies, manages a grant team, and aligns proposals with Bethany’s faith-driven mission.

The candidate will develop strategy, monitor revenue initiatives, and collaborate with senior directors to grow the grants portfolio and ensure program sustainability.

Qualifications

• Master’s level degree in a related field of study from an accredited college.
• Broad knowledge of grant writing and public and private funding.
• At least three years of senior managerial experience.
• Five-to-seven years of progressive grant-writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the grant team and oversee growth planning.
• Develop strategy and action steps for planning and grants.
• Secure federal and other public funding through compelling proposals.
• Coordinate communications with HQ, Directors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare high-quality proposals aligned with Bethany’s mission.
