Job summary

Smartsheet is seeking a VP of Product Management to lead AI product strategy. You will define and execute the comprehensive AI vision and roadmap, guiding specialized AI agents, evaluation infrastructure, and customer-facing AI features from platform foundations to product delivery.

You will report to the Chief Product and Technology Officer in Bellevue, WA, or work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is licensed to operate.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of product management experience in software (B2B/B2C)
• 15+ years of people management experience
• Experience shipping AI features or AI-powered products
• Strong collaboration with UX and engineering teams
• Excellent communication with customers, colleagues, and executives
• Passion for web-based business software
• Ability to discuss technical concepts with non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with data analytics and visualization

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Smartsheet's Applied AI product strategy.
• Lead a high-performing product team focused on AI initiatives.
• Own business outcomes and set adoption, retention, expansion, and revenue targets.
• Build data and evaluation foundations to measure AI feature performance and prioritize roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Pricing & Packaging, and Sales on GTM strategy.
• Partner with Customer Excellence and Sales on AI governance and automation.
• Shape AI experiences that are accessible and trustworthy across segments.
• Develop a world-class product management team with clear AI goals and impact.
