Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. seeks a VP-level AI Architect to define and drive a consistent AI-first architecture across the company. You will connect AI applications with scalable infrastructure, translate priorities into practical designs, and guide implementation across product lines.

Build reference implementations and mentor engineers while ensuring security and governance are embedded in every decision. You’ll design production AI systems for performance, resilience, and scale, benchmark options, and

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or AI engineering, including senior technical leadership across multiple products or business units.
• A record of designing and delivering production AI systems, including generative or agentic applications and the infrastructure that supports them.
• Strong foundations in distributed systems, software design, APIs, and performance engineering.
• Experience with model integration, inference serving, retrieval, and evaluation for AI systems at scale.
• Experience establishing shared platforms and engineering standards across independent teams and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the company-wide AI architecture and roadmap.
• Design and build full-stack AI and agentic systems.
• Architect production AI systems for performance, resilience, and scale.
• Create a consistent developer experience across products with reusable components and APIs.
• Design the AI lifecycle architecture from data ingestion to deployment and feedback.
• Embed security, governance, and auditability into AI architectures and work with Security and Legal.
