Job summary

Lima One Capital, LLC is seeking a VP of Business Development - Multifamily to lead outside sales remotely across the United States. You will originate multifamily loans, grow sponsor and broker relationships, and manage the full loan process from outreach to close, while educating clients on Lima One’s value proposition.

The role emphasizes building a strong network, delivering exceptional customer experience, and expanding market presence through events and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in Private/Commercial Lending in the multifamily asset class.
• Book of Business or Investor Network that complements Lima One's multifamily loan product.
• Understanding of the multifamily investment property industry and ability to communicate how Lima One products help clients grow.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to creatively source and develop new business.
• Energetic and passionate about providing the best customer experience in the industry.
• Active current NMLS license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of sales by sourcing & funding multifamily loan volume; build relationships with sponsors and brokers.
• Originate and structure multifamily loans to serve clients and dominate the market.
• Manage the entire loan process from outreach to underwriting, approval, and closing.
• Educate business partners, referral sources, brokers, and investors on Lima One's value proposition.
• Strengthen community presence by speaking at events and building partnerships.
