Goodwin Recruiting seeks a seasoned VP of Legal and Risk Management to partner with executive leadership on strategy, compliance, and risk. The role oversees employment law, contracts, litigation, and corporate governance while guiding policy development and training across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring a JD with 10+ years of experience in complex matters, a strong track record with outside counsel, and the ability to manage significant legal risk for a growth-oriented

Competenze

• J.D. from an accredited law school and 10+ years of legal experience.
• Strong background in employment law, commercial contracts, and corporate legal matters.
• Experience handling complex federal and state court matters, including litigation strategy and depositions.
• Proven ability to manage outside counsel and litigation costs.
• Excellent legal writing, research, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.

Mansioni

• Oversee corporate legal matters including employment issues, ethics, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement company-wide policies, SOPs, and compliance programs.
• Lead and negotiate commercial contracts with customers, vendors, and partners.
• Manage litigation, disputes, and outside counsel relationships while controlling costs.
• Maintain COI management processes and a centralized contract repository.
• Identify and mitigate legal and financial risks in partnership with leadership.
