Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Vice-President of Field Equipment Operations to lead strategic direction and operational excellence for the Renewables equipment program. You will align equipment strategy with Market Sector goals, optimizing deployment, utilization, and lifecycle management of heavy and light assets.

You will manage service protocols, ROI assessments, budgeting, and procurement strategies, while partnering with vendors and financing institutions to drive cost efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, construction management, finance, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree in finance preferred.
• CEM or CESP certifications preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in construction equipment management, including utilization, procurement, and maintenance from the owner side.
• 5+ years in executive leadership at a construction company with revenues of $500MM+.
• Experience with equipment-related technology and innovation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an equipment strategy aligned with Market Sector objectives and long-term goals.
• Report ROI of equipment investments, utilization, and lifecycle strategies.
• Lead initiatives to modernize and optimize the equipment fleet with new technologies.
• Establish protocols for equipment service, maintenance, and deployment.
• Oversee equipment records and performance Reviews for improvement opportunities.
• Manage budgets and procurement strategies, including financing for major equipment.
• Build partnerships with vendors, service providers, and financing organizations.
• Develop a high-performing equipment team and promote accountability.
• Ensure DOT and Fleet safety programs and regulatory compliance.
