Job summary

HES Facilities, a premier national provider of facilities management for educational institutions, seeks a VP of Business Development to drive territory growth and strategic partnerships. You will lead cross‑functional teams, shape market strategy, and expand the company’s brand in the Northeast region.

The role is remote with significant autonomy and requires 50-75% travel January–September, plus managing relationships with partners, vendors and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years’ business development experience.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and develops new business opportunities within territory.
• Builds relationships with partners, suppliers, distributors, and vendors.
• Evaluates existing partnerships and sales efforts to improve results.
• Manages key client relationships and builds new ones.
• Expands the company’s profile and market share.
• Leads sales, marketing, customer service, and client relationships.
• Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships for lead generation.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, especially operations, to ensure top‑notch service.
• Travels to prospect locations and conferences; travel is 50-75% during peak season.
• Develops proposals for RFPs from potential partners and customers.
