Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking a Benefits Implementation Specialist to support the design and enrollment of voluntary benefits for clients in California. You will guide local account teams through RFP/RFI processes and coordinate with carriers to deliver streamlined solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in employee benefits, project management, and sales/marketing experience, plus a valid license within 90 days. Strong communication and data integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years insurance agency or company experience in employee benefits.
• Project management experience.
• Sales, marketing experience.
• Voluntary Benefits experience.
• Valid Insurance License within 90 Days.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and enroll insureds in voluntary benefits programs.
• Gather client needs and insured population details for RFP/RFI process.
• Prepare and submit RFP/RFI documents to multiple carriers; review responses.
• Quote voluntary benefits with carriers; coordinate benefits administration platform.
• Present plan options and recommendations to clients with the account management team.
• Oversee full implementation lifecycle; develop communication collateral and data interfaces.
• Assist with post-implementation escalations related to voluntary benefits.
• Stay informed on trends in voluntary benefits and pursue professional development.
• Ensure data integrity in agency management system and maintain records.
• Other duties as assigned.
