Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – VMware to lead technical presales and design VMware Cloud Foundation private cloud solutions for clients.

You will work with CIO/CTO and procurement teams to align technology with business goals, create compelling proposals, and guide customers through technical evaluations. The role requires strong VMware/VCF knowledge, 5+ years in technical roles, 3+ years in presales, and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required
• 5+ years of experience in a technical role
• 5+ years experience with VMware Vsphere and related technologies
• 3+ years of experience in a presales role
• Travel to client locations up to 20% for meetings and engagements
• Advanced Certifications such as VCAP-DCV Design and Deploy (minimum) or VCDX-DCV (optional)

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical presales engagement and own the technical strategy, execution, and opportunity through the sales cycle
• Engage with customers and design VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) private cloud solutions, guiding them to successful outcomes as a SME
• Collaborate with clients to identify VCF opportunities and coordinate with CIO/CTO and procurement teams
• Provide comprehensive technical overviews, planning and guidance for understanding VCF components and requirements
