Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation Infrastructure Architect to lead planning, deployment, management and operation of the VCF base solution.

You will handle vSphere, vSAN, VLAN networks and Aria suites, guiding customers to successful VCF deployments while mentoring consultants. You will design and size infrastructure for management components and workload domains, with a senior focus on NSX, Aria Automation, and DR strategies.

Qualifications

• Lead VMware Cloud Foundation projects for private cloud.
• 8+ years’ experience implementing and configuring vSphere environments.
• Experience designing, deploying and configuring NSX and NSX migrations with microsegmentation.
• Hands-on knowledge of Aria Operations, Dashboards and Log Insight.
• Experience deploying Aria Automation and integrating Orchestrator.
• Strong ability to design, install and configure DR solutions (SRM or Live Recovery).
• Ability to plan infrastructure sizing for management components and workload domains.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer consulting projects focused on VMware Cloud Foundation private cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to identify VCF opportunities.
• Plan, Deploy, Manage and Operate VMware Cloud Foundation; size infrastructure for management components and workload domains.
• Mentor and manage consultants on VCF solutions.
• Identify trends and provide solutions across VMware products.
