Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Virtual Infrastructure Engineer III to research, test, and document virtual desktop infrastructure solutions. You will guide fellow engineers and participate in an on-call rotation supporting incidents, upgrades and patches.

The role requires strong Cisco UCS and VMware expertise, plus Windows Server/UNIX and storage management experience. A bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in IT infrastructure are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience required.
• 6+ years of Cisco UCS Infrastructure & VMware experience.
• VMware Data Center Virtualization knowledge (certs preferred).

Responsibilities

• Researches, develops, tests, analyzes, and documents Cisco UCS and VMware infrastructure.
• Coaches and trains junior engineers and coordinates incident response.
• Manages projects, budgets, and knowledgebase content; participates in on-call rotation.
