Qualifications

• Proven experience producing and editing video content, ideally in sports or entertainment media.
• Strong understanding of platform algorithms, formats, and audience behaviour across YouTube and social platforms.
• Experience developing content concepts, briefs, and working with outside creators or contributors.
• Strong network of industry contacts (sports organizations, PR, talent representatives)
• Comfort reviewing performance data and translating it into content and distribution strategy.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver original sports video content in short- and long-form formats.
• Develop concepts and briefs; coordinate with third-party content creators.
• Source user-generated content and manage permissions/usage rights.
• Build relationships with sports organizations, PR, talent reps, and other contacts.
• Recommend independent creators for collaborations and manage production.
• Identify new content creators for future collaboration.
• Develop strategies to grow reach and visibility across digital/social platforms.
• Prepare, format, and publish video content on designated platforms.
• Review performance metrics and advise on strategy, schedule, and audience engagement.
• Support development and distribution of podcast/video podcast content, including clips.
• Collaborate with editorial staff for opportunities and cross-promotion.
• Explore and implement AI tools to improve ideation, production, and analysis.
