Job summary

Appsierra Group is seeking licensed veterinarians to contribute expertise to the evaluation and improvement of AI systems in veterinary medicine. You will create realistic case scenarios and assess AI-generated responses for diagnostic accuracy and safety, focusing on pharmacology, dosing, and clinical reasoning.

This fully remote, hourly contract role requires at least 10 hours per week with weekly Stripe payments and independent contractor engagement.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree completed and valid US license.
• Active, unencumbered veterinary license in the United States.
• Minimum 2 years of professional clinical practice.
• Strong understanding of veterinary pharmacology, medication safety, and dosing.
• Ability to communicate clinical reasoning clearly in written English.
• Ability to commit to at least 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop realistic veterinary case scenarios across species.
• Write reference answers that demonstrate appropriate veterinary reasoning, including differential diagnosis, pharmacology, dosing considerations, and clinical decision-making.
• Evaluate AI-generated veterinary responses for diagnostic accuracy, clinical relevance, toxicity awareness, and patient safety.
• Identify inaccurate, fabricated, unsafe, or out-of-scope veterinary guidance and clearly explain the clinical reasoning behind your assessment.
• Apply your practical veterinary experience to help distinguish appropriate clinical guidance from responses that could create safety concerns.
