Job summary

Loyal Source seeks a Nurse Practitioner Examiner to conduct Compensation & Pension examinations for Veterans applying for VA disability benefits. You will review records, perform focused assessments, and render objective medical opinions as part of the VA process.

Remote charting may be required; strong HIPAA compliance and independent work style are essential, with collaboration across QA and healthcare teams. Travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

NP licensed and unrestricted in the U.S.
At least 1 year as a Nurse Practitioner
Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
Experience with medical disability exams preferred
Experience with HIPAA and patient privacy compliance

Responsibilities

Perform medical disability examinations and review claims.
Review medical records and tests for VA claims.
Provide objective medical opinions per VA guidelines.
Document findings in VA-compliant reports.
Coordinate with QA and other healthcare professionals.
Travel up to 10% to other clinics.
