Job summary

First Children’s Finance seeks a Vermont Grants Specialist to administer state, federal, and philanthropic grants with emphasis on compliance and reporting. You will work with the Senior Grants Manager and Vermont operations to manage pass-through grants and support grantees across the state.

You will track grant data, coordinate notifications, distributions, and reporting, while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance. Travel within Vermont may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a foundation, nonprofit, social service or small business setting.
• Experience with grantmaking, program administration and/or data analysis, data management and reporting preferred.
• Experience collaborating with communities of color and low-resourced communities.

Responsibilities

• Work with Vermont team to conduct grantmaking activities for child care grant programs.
• Provide advice, guidance and technical assistance to applicants/grantees.
• Process pass through grants applications, due diligence, verify documentation and scoring.
