Job summary

Alignment Health is actively seeking a Remote Vendor Manager to oversee third-party vendors supporting the Medicare Advantage health plan. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in vendor management, healthcare operations, account management, procurement, business operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors and strategic business partners.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor leadership and operational teams.
• Facilitate regular business reviews and governance meetings with vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Resolve operational issues, service concerns, and escalations in a timely manner.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and contractual commitments.
• Analyze vendor performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews.
• Develop corrective action plans when performance expectations are not met.
• Ensure vendors meet quality, operational, and customer service standards.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and stakeholders through vendor lifecycle.
• Support contract negotiations, renewals, amendments, and terminations.
• Monitor contract compliance and ensure vendors meet obligations.
• Review invoices and financial performance for cost effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
• Ensure vendors operate in compliance with CMS, HIPAA, state requirements.
• Coordinate vendor compliance reviews, audits, and assessments.
• Monitor delegated and non-delegated vendor compliance activities.
• Track remediation plans and corrective actions from audits.
• Support implementation of new vendors and services.
• Coordinate vendor participation in strategic initiatives and projects.
• Manage vendor-related operational changes and process improvements.
• Facilitate readiness activities for new products, markets, and programs.
• Ensure alignment between business needs and vendor service delivery.
