Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Remote Vendor Manager to oversee the performance, governance, and strategic management of third-party vendors supporting the Medicare Advantage program. You will serve as the primary relationship manager for vendor leadership and operational teams to ensure contractual obligations and regulatory requirements are met.

The role focuses on vendor accountability, cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and delivering superior member and provider experiences through KPI

Qualifications

• Experience managing vendor relationships and performance metrics.
• Strong contract management and negotiation support experience.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors and strategic partners.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor leadership and operations teams.
• Facilitate governance meetings and monitor vendor performance against KPIs/SLAs.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations on vendor-related matters.
• Track remediation actions and support risk management activities.
• Support implementation of new vendors and vendor-delivered services.
