Wealth Enhancement Group is seeking a Counsel I for Vendor Contracts & Leasing to support contracting, procurement, and real estate legal functions. The role partners with Legal, Procurement, Facilities, IT, Privacy, Compliance, and Finance to streamline contract review and risk management.

The ideal candidate has a JD with ~2+ years in commercial contracts and leasing. This remote position covers the Twin Cities area with a base salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 plus potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice.
• Experience reviewing, drafting, or negotiating commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with office leases and commercial real estate documents.
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to explain legal concepts to non-attorneys.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor and commercial agreements including MSAs and SOWs.
• Identify risks and propose commercially reasonable solutions.
• Support procurement and business teams through the contract lifecycle.
• Maintain and improve templates, playbooks, and standard clauses.
• Coordinate with Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Finance on issues.
• Track negotiations and support contract administration.
• Review office leases and related occupancy documents.
• Assist with office openings, relocations, and closures.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and clause libraries.
• Participate in AI initiatives to streamline contract review with oversight.
