Job summary

Wealth Enhancement Group seeks a Counsel I for Vendor Contracts & Leasing to support vendor contracting, procurement, and real estate legal functions. This remote role will review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and leases while aligning with company policies and risk controls.

The ideal candidate has foundational experience in commercial contracting and leasing, collaborating with Legal, Procurement, Facilities, IT, Privacy, Compliance, and Finance to streamline

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• 2+ years of relevant legal experience in commercial contracts, procurement, real estate, or related areas.
• Experience drafting/negotiating commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with office leases and related documents.
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to non-attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor and commercial agreements.
• Identify risks and propose commercially reasonable solutions.
• Support procurement through contract lifecycle from intake to execution.
• Maintain and improve contract templates and playbooks.
• Coordinate with Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Finance on complex issues.
• Track negotiations and maintain contract administration.
• Escalate high-risk matters to senior legal team.
• Review, draft, and negotiate office leases and related documents.
• Support facilities on openings, relocations, expansions, and closures.
• Ensure lease documentation and notices are compliant.
