Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Project Manager to drive excellence across electrical design-build projects. This role can be fully remote or based at our Lexington, KY headquarters or Greenville, SC office.

You will lead BIM planning, alignment with project schedules, and QA of 3D models while coordinating with PMs, WPs, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has solid experience with BIM/VDC workflows, project planning, and a proven ability to mentor teams, ensure

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM/VDC workflows and standards.
• Strong planning and scheduling abilities.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams while enforcing safety.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Open Space and Assemble software.

Responsibilities

• Develop BIM execution plans and LOD specifications.
• Manage project schedules and BIM hours with PMs and WPs.
• Review design drawings to capture changes affecting BIM.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure project requirements are met.
• Assure quality of 3D models using Navisworks, Liquid Cloud and Open Space.
• Improve processes and develop VDC strategies.
• Manage VDC workflows and keep Trello Blue Board up to date.
• Review installation drawings for company standards.
• Evaluate and implement new VDC technologies.
• Model setup for new projects.
