Job summary

Andy J Egan Co. is seeking a VDC Layout/Design Lead to drive model development, coordination, and fabrication detailing for complex MEP projects. You will lead BIM workflows, resolve clashes, and support field teams with accurate installation drawings.

The role emphasizes Proficient use of Revit, Navisworks, and cloud collaboration tools, with 5+ years in BIM/VDC and strong communication skills. Remote work is acceptable, with HQ in Grand Rapids, MI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BIM/VDC modeling, coordination and detailing.
• Experience modeling MEP systems including mechanical, piping, and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and Navisworks; cloud collaboration platforms.
• Ability to read engineered drawings, P&IDs, models and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D models in Revit and fabrication software.
• Coordinate routing with trades and coordinate meetings.
• Produce fabrication-level models (LOD 350-400) and BOMs.
• Support field teams with model navigation and installation drawings.
• Verify model accuracy and ensure alignment with standards.
