Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Industrial Specialist to lead drafting for industrial projects.

The role is fully remote within the United States, requiring BIM/VDC modelling, Inventor/Plant 3D/Revit/AutoCAD proficiency, and strong time-management to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate has a technical degree in engineering or related fields and relevant experience, with strong communication and presentation skills to collaborate with clients and teams

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction science, architecture, or a related field with 2+ years of related experience.
Ability to create BIM/VDC models and update with current construction documents and specifications.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Experience with Inventor, Plant 3D, Revit and AutoCAD is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Create fabrication/submittal drawings for industrial work, including Industrial Plastics, Valve Automation, Specialty Gasket, Lined Pipe work.
Ensure that the design and drafting concepts/details are accurately conveyed on drawings.
Maintain standards, processes, and workflows.
Meet, communicate, and collaborate with internal and external customers.
Advance global BIM/VDC initiatives.
Review design and construction documents.
