Nbutexas is seeking a VDC Designer – Electrical to support complex construction projects remotely. The role focuses on creating, maintaining, and coordinating detailed 3D electrical models using Revit, with field coordination and continuous model updates throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on electrical trade experience, proficiency in Revit, and the ability to deliver LOD 350–400 modeling.

Qualifications

2+ years in VDC/BIM and construction modeling.
2+ years in electrical project coordination.
Proficiency in Revit with ability to create and manage detailed electrical models.
Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM360.
Experience with LOD 350-400 electrical modeling.

Responsabilités

Develop and maintain accurate electrical 3D models in Revit aligned with project requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other external stakeholders to ensure cross-discipline consistency.
Use Navisworks to perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between building systems.
Coordinate closely with MEP teams to ensure integrated, clash-free electrical designs.
Provide remote coordination for field operations, integrating 3D scans and field data into project models.
Support field teams by ensuring accurate model updates and alignment with construction progress.
Prepare technical documentation, drawings, schedules, and other deliverables required by project teams.
Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to project standards and deadlines.
Stay current with emerging BIM/VDC technologies and apply improvements to modeling workflows.
