Job summary

CarePlus Health Plans seeks an experienced Senior Hospital Contracting Strategist to initiate, negotiate, and execute provider contracts, including hospital and health system agreements. You will report to the Director, Provider Contracting and drive strategic value across networks.

Responsibilities include leading negotiations, evaluating reimbursement methodologies, and ensuring financial soundness. Remote work with occasional travel may be required; 40-hour weeks with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years hospital negotiation experience.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and value-based contracting.
• Strong financial analysis and contract language interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for hospital and health system agreements, including terms and renewals.
• Analyze financial impact of contracts and communicate terms to providers.
• Maintain contracts and documentation in a tracking system.
• Identify and recruit providers to strengthen network.
