Job summary

CarePlus Health Plans is seeking a Senior Hospital Contracting Strategist / Senior Provider Contracting Professional to initiate, negotiate, and execute physician, hospital and other provider contracts and agreements for an organization that provides health insurance. You will report to the Director, Provider Contracting.

This remote role requires extensive managed care experience, Medicare Advantage/Medicaid knowledge, and strong financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of hospital negotiation experience in Medicare.
• Experience leading negotiations for hospital and health system agreements.
• 5+ years of progressive network management experience including hospital contracting.
• Experience negotiating managed care contracts with hospital systems.
• Ability to analyze and communicate financial impact of contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for hospital and health system agreements.
• Assess reimbursement methodologies and financial impact.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure contracts are sound.
• Maintain contracts in tracking system.
• Help recruit providers to strengthen network.
