Job summary

House Buyers of America, a leading national home-buying company, is seeking a Valuations Analyst to value prospective deals and determine scope of work for properties we acquire. The VA will estimate market value and help shape pricing strategies for dispositions.

The role is fully remote across the United States. You should have at least three years of residential valuations/underwriting experience, plus an appraisal license or completed coursework; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in residential property valuations/underwriting.
• Appraisal license or completed appraisal coursework preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Value prospective deals and determine scope of work for acquired properties.
• Determine a reliable market value for deals used to decide on acquisitions.
• Determine pricing strategies to sell properties acquired by the company.
• Meet turnaround objectives for valuations and ensure properties do not sit on the market too long.
• Handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Support company goals as needed.
