Job summary

Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking an Installation and Service Engineer to join our Process Equipment Division. The role involves system installations across Europe, troubleshooting mechanical and electro‑mechanical assemblies, and providing technical support for customers.

You will travel to customer sites throughout the UK and Europe, deliver training on system operation, software and hardware, and work with leading vacuum technology to support next‑generation products.

Qualifications

• BSc in a scientific discipline (physics, chemistry, materials science, etc.).
• Fluent in English and German required (B2/C1+).
• Willing to travel regularly across UK, Germany and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install and service KJLC/KDF PVD tools at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electro‑mechanical assemblies.
• Provide system support and training to customers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and field upgrades.
• Interpret drawings and run diagnostics with RGA.
