Job summary

Destination Careers is seeking Vacation Planning Coordinators to assist clients in planning and coordinating personalized vacation itineraries. You will work with flights, hotels, cruises, and transportation while managing details and delivering exceptional service.

This remote role offers flexible scheduling, access to industry resources, and opportunities to grow in travel coordination and industry knowledge. Prior travel experience is valued, but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple travel requests and client needs.
• Customer-service mindset with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use online booking systems.
• Interest in travel, tourism, hospitality, or vacation planning.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, logistics, or travel planning is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with planning vacation travel including flights, hotels, cruises, resorts, and transportation.
• Coordinate and organize detailed travel itineraries to ensure smooth travel experiences.
• Provide destination recommendations based on client preferences, travel goals, and budgets.
• Communicate with travel suppliers and partners to confirm reservations and availability.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, confirmations, and client communications.
• Provide support to travelers before and during their vacations when needed.
• Monitor travel updates, schedule changes, and supplier communications.
• Stay informed about travel promotions, destination information, and industry updates.
