Responsibilities

• Performs routine clerical tasks to support utilization management workflows.
• Monitors and processes inbound communications and faxes per payer requirements.
• Documents EMR/EPIC activities and updates patient accounts accordingly.
• Coordinates with UM nurses and physicians for payer requirements and approvals.
• Escalates issues and communicates barriers to leadership as needed.
