Job summary

State of Indiana seeks a qualified ASCC/USS Supervisor to lead assessment and utilization services statewide. The role supports county staff via in-person, video, or phone collaboration and travels within Indiana as needed.

Reporting to DCS leadership, the position emphasizes coaching, policy guidance, and continuous improvement of service utilization practices to protect children and strengthen families.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of social work, casework, and counseling.
• Strong understanding of state/federal laws and agency standards.
• Ability to manage crises and prioritize workflow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and court testimony.
• Ability to supervise staff and coach peers across statewide offices.

Responsibilities

• Review and supervise work of Family Case Managers handling CA/N assessments and service referrals.
• Consult with staff to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and agency policies.
• Review information, update records, assess safety and risk, monitor service utilization.
• Provide documentation for determinations related to CA/N cases and services.
• Assist supervisors with documentation and communication of assessments and consultations.
