Job summary

eX² Technology, a Vivacity Infrastructure Group division, seeks a Utility Locator to support underground facility construction with a focus on damage prevention. You will respond to dig ticket requests, locate and mark client infrastructure, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of utility locating experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with underground utility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Verify location of client facilities within dig extents.
• Compare real-world conditions to records to identify errors.
• Investigate damages and prepare required documentation.
• Work safely on site and protect client facilities.
• Understand contractor methods for subsurface installations.
• Support locating operations using standard equipment.
