Job summary

ORC is seeking a Right of Way Professional who will work remotely from home within the Eastern Time Zone. The role focuses on preparing and quality-checking right of way documents for utility projects, maintaining project files, and supporting project teams with reporting.

This entry-level training position offers a pay range of $18-$20 per hour and emphasizes growth into the Utilities Document Specialist role as you gain experience and complete ORC’s training program.

Qualifications

• Must be organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with accuracy at the core.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and quality-check right of way documents — easements, agreements, and related real estate instruments — for utility projects
• Maintain accurate project files, databases, and document tracking systems
• Track documents from draft through recording and keep project teams informed of status
• Support Agents and the Project Manager with document requests and reporting
• Perform general administrative tasks that keep projects moving
• Place/embed project specific documents, images and pins into project map/KMZ
