Job summary

Fathom Robotics is seeking a Maritime Logistics & Deployment Manager to survey government test ranges and ports, then run logistics to stage and operate uncrewed surface vessels at those sites. You will report to the USV Fleet Director.

The remote role covers travel across the continental U.S. and overseas, with field work on piers, ramps, and yards, including hazardous materials handling and ITAR requirements. Active Secret clearance is needed.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in maritime logistics or port operations.
• Experience evaluating piers, ramps, yards for launch, recovery, berthing, and lift.
• Ability to travel ~25% and work outdoors on boats.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the site assessment matrix used at every range and port.
• Survey piers, ramps, and yards to support USVs up to 100ft and crewed vessels.
• Evaluate crane, forklift, and trailer capacity and site access.
• Review host ranges, identify shortfalls, and write site reports.
• Produce deployment plans for vessels/equipment with cost and timeline.
• Direct survey staff and manage on-site deployments and logistics.
• Arrange sea/air transport, access, and local equipment.
• Ensure hazmat, lithium battery, ITAR and export controls compliance.
• Track vessels/equipment and support proposals with logistics plans.
