Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a US Payroll Manager to lead end‑to‑end payroll across five US entities, directing a team of three specialists and driving process improvements. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while partnering with HR, Finance, Legal and Benefits to align payroll operations with business goals.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in US payroll, Hands-on Workday Payroll experience, CPP certification, and strong Excel/Power BI capabilities.

Qualifications

7+ years of US payroll experience across multi‑state and multi‑entity environments.
2+ years in a supervisory role with direct people management responsibility.
Deep knowledge of US federal and state payroll tax law, wage and hour regulations, and year‑end compliance.
Hands‑on experience with enterprise payroll systems (Workday Payroll).
Experience operating within SOX‑controlled environments.
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) and Workday Payroll certification.
Advanced Excel skills and Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of 3 Payroll Specialists; conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing across 5 US entities and ensure on‑time delivery.
Sign‑off on payroll runs; handle complex or high‑risk entities.
Manage off‑cycle payroll runs, retroactive adjustments, and termination calculations.
Own payroll calendar and ensure deadlines across entities.
