Qualifications

• Registration to practice before the USPTO with 2 to 6 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience.
• Ability to handle drafting and prosecution matters competently within quality-control and review processes.
• Outstanding client relationships and ability to explain complex patent questions clearly.
• Strong technical judgment; applicants from any technical field welcome.
• Thoughtful approach to AI: willing to use it extensively, challenge it, and improve process.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with inventors; understand technology and business priorities; explain the patent process clearly.
• Develop invention disclosures and claim strategies with clients; reflect invention in protection and commercial use.
• Use AI workflows to prepare, review and refine patent applications and office-action responses; assess claim scope and prior art.
• Guide clients through review, filing and prosecution decisions; coordinate with patent specialists to keep matters moving.
• Provide specific feedback to product and engineering teams to improve the platform.
